A milestone for our little black cat detective—and a bigger mission: making enterprise AI agents easier to find, understand, and own.

The next era of AI needs an address book

AI agents are moving from experiments to the business processes people rely on. The challenge is no longer just building another agent. It is answering deceptively simple questions: Which agents exist? Where did they come from? Who owns them? Which records refer to the same business agent, and what decisions have teams made about it?

Those answers tend to be scattered across frameworks, teams and systems. A list of technical IDs is helpful, but a name in one console rarely tells the full business story.

Today, a milestone. Tomorrow, more detective work.

We're excited to share that CatProof AI has been accepted into NVIDIA Inception, NVIDIA's startup program. For our small team, it is a meaningful milestone as we build in the rapidly evolving enterprise AI ecosystem.

We see that acceptance as encouragement to keep building and learning—not as an NVIDIA investment, certification, technology partnership, or endorsement of CatProof. The real work is still ours to do.

Meet the cat with a magnifying glass

CatProof's black cat detective represents a straightforward philosophy: don't guess when you can investigate. A similar agent name isn't proof that two records represent the same thing. A technical service account isn't automatically a business owner. A refreshed inventory shouldn't silently erase a human decision.

Our federated agent registry is designed to preserve original source identities while connecting them to durable business records, accountable owners, lifecycle context and review history. Supported integrations and their validation limits are published in our connector catalog.

What comes next

We are focused on making discovery and ownership practical across supported enterprise sources. In parallel, we're exploring a deeper question: when an agent takes a consequential business action, how can a business independently establish what happened and whether the outcome was correct?

Business-action verification is a direction we are exploring, not a claim that CatProof currently verifies every action across arbitrary systems. We will keep the distinction between what works today, what is demonstrated with fictional data, and what we're working toward.

Come investigate with us

If you're responsible for deploying, operating, or governing AI agents, we'd like to hear what accountability looks like in your organization—especially where platform inventories don't connect cleanly to business ownership.

Curious by nature. Accountable by design. Every agent. Accounted for.
